The Avenue Memorial Scholarships
The Avenue Fellowship is now accepting applications for the Rachel Bailey Memorial Scholarship, Booker Johnson Memorial Scholarship, Ruby Pearson Memorial Scholarship, and Dorothy Brown Memorial Scholarship.

These scholarships reflect our commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders by supporting students as they pursue higher education, vocational training, and professional development.
Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be active members of The Avenue Fellowship.

Be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college, university, graduate school, vocational school, or trade school.

Demonstrate Christian commitment, academic effort, leadership, and service.

Submit a complete application by the deadline.
Application Requirements
Students will be asked to provide:

Completed Online Application – Including basic contact information and current academic information.

Essay (500–750 Words) – As part of the application process, applicants must submit an essay describing their Christian testimony, educational and career aspirations, and how they plan to use their education to make a positive impact in their church, community, and beyond.

Official or Unofficial Transcript – Submit your most recent academic transcript.

Proof of Enrollment or Acceptance – Documentation verifying enrollment in or acceptance to an accredited college, university, graduate school, vocational school, or trade school.

Scholarship Sunday
Scholarship recipients will be recognized during Scholarship Sunday on Sunday, August 2.
We encourage all eligible students to apply and ask our church family to help spread the word.
