Reverend Dr. Jeremy D. Battle serves as the Senior Pastor of The Avenue:  The historic Massachusetts Avenue and  Western Avenue Baptist Church. A son of the church and a visionary leader, Dr. Battle assumed leadership of the Massachusetts Avenue Baptist Church in May 2025, marking a new chapter of unity, revitalization, and shared purpose for the Cambridge faith community. Known for his dynamic preaching, pastoral care, and innovative leadership, he continues to guide The Avenue with integrity, imagination, and a deep love for God’s people.
