Pastoral Care Ministry

The Pastoral Care Team demonstrates authentic care and concern for members of The Avenue's community through prayer and spiritual support. Team members should be advanced in prayer methods, scripture, teachings, and be able to discern how to support someone in prayer with care and sensitivity. They also operate as eyes and ears for The Avenue, listening to people’s concerns, downloading these issues, and addressing them. The Pastoral Care Team serves as the first line of welcome at The Avenue, greeting visitors and members alike in order to create a warm and inviting space for all who enter our building
